Our History
Founded in 1975

Chicago Case Company was founded in 1975 to solve a clear problem: professionals needed tougher, smarter protection for the gear they couldn’t afford to lose. From day one, Chicago Case built durable carrying and shipping cases for sensitive electronic equipment and industrial products, engineered to take hits in transit and still perform on the job. That original mission still drives everything we make today—rugged cases that move tools, equipment, and high-value products safely, securely, and without compromise.
Acquired in 2010

In 2010, Chicago Case became part of MB Hipp LLC DBA C.H. Ellis, bringing the Chicago Case product line into a manufacturing organization with more than a century of experience. Since then, Chicago Case products have been produced using the same quality standards, engineering expertise, and manufacturing processes that define C.H. Ellis, while continuing to serve customers who require dependable protective solutions for demanding applications.
